

The Fitness Clinic of Solon utilizes a research proven, scientifically based strength training philosophy that is safe, efficient and effective. At the Fitness Clinic, we recognize the importance of technique when performing each exercise, placing an emphasis on the quality of the movement, not quantity. Exercises are performed in a slow, controlled manner in which the execution of movement is very precise. When performed to the point of momentary muscle failure, exercises performed in this manner are highly effective.
Each workout is 30 minutes in duration and consists of 10 to 12
exercises addressing all of the major muscle groups. For maximum
benefits, one should engage in this type of training 2 to 3 times per
week.
Strength training, as it is performed at the Fitness Clinic, is the most
physiological productive form of exercise. There are numerous
benefits including increased muscular strength and endurance,
increased lean tissue, improved appearance, increased functional
capacity, increased aerobic capacity, decreased back pain, increased
bone density, increased resting metabolic rate, and improved
glucose tolerance.
